McGill University and the Mastercard Foundation are pleased to announce the Mastercard Foundation Scholarships to McGill University in Canada for the session 2021-2022. The program was created to offer full scholarships to Master’s students from eligible countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
This scholarship program in Canada is designed to sponsor outstanding students who are committed to their communities to pursue a university education that would otherwise not have the opportunity. The goal is to foster the development of future leaders and entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Eligibility for Mastercard Foundation Scholarships at McGill University in Canada
To be eligible for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program at McGill, you must :
Be eligible for one of McGill University’s participating programs of study (see list of programs here) ;
Have never undertaken graduate studies ;
Be nominated by a current McGill Professor or administrative staff member of the program of your choice (see application form) ;
Be a citizen of a sub-Saharan country and have resided there for at least one year.
